Ben Park, James Wilson, and Stephen Gardner
Back by popular demand, Ben Park is returning to Thornbury FM for the November 2008 broadcast. Stephen Gardner has been forced* into returning with him, and James Wilson might be joining them, if he isn't too busy sailing around the world with pirates.
*Allegedly.After extensive market research, it's been decided that the last series of The Music and Waffle Show had the winning formula perfected, and it can't be improved upon. As this is the case, scientists have been working on a new formula to lower listener's expectations instead. This should be available from your local voodoo priestess, throughout November.
Listeners can expect more general banter, guest presenters, local news from Donald McDonald Donald, and sport from Randy 'the voice' Lightpurple. Ben still loves the 1985 hit single 'New England' by the late great Kirsty MacColl, and there are now even more microphones hidden around the Thornbury FM studios behind-the-scenes, to help create the fly-on-the-wall section of the show we call 'The Staff Room'.
Despite our medical expert 'Dr Ben' spending most of the last broadcast in jail, we hope to have him out in time for the show, ready to answer listeners' problems the way only he can. Fingers crossed, everyone.
