Leona Roberts I am Leona Roberts, I am 37 and live in Almondsbury. I am married, have three children and teach ICT in a Secondary School. My show on Thornbury FM, will focus on current affairs from the previous week and young people will be invited to comment on events and discuss issues that are relevant to us all. Each week we pick two topical issues and the panel of tenagers give their opinions. I have been interested in politics since my teens and have never really understood why more young people aren't. I first got the idea for "Watching" because I wanted to make more young people aware that there is point to politics and that politics does make a difference to their lives. This is my third season of presenting the show on Thornbury FM and the quality of discussion has been tremendous, especially as some of the young people say they know nothing about current affairs yet they are honest in their opinion and make intelligent contribution to the show.
