Hello, I'm Matt and this year I am doing a show on Saturdays 7-8pm. I have called it 'The Variety Hour' and it is only now I realise it sounds like an activity at an old people's home. But then I am always trying to broaden my scope of listeners.
With guests every week, a bit of chat (or arguably a bit more than a bit), some great features and a gentle seasoning of music, it's a youth orientated show which has been enjoyed by people of all ages. So if you're not watching The X Factor (with singers who you'll forget about anyway after they get the Christmas Number one, why even bother watching not that I feel the least bit bitter or annoyed) it would be absolutely wonderful if you could join me.
I've also managed to blag my way onto a range of other shows over the broadcast in some shape or form, including 'Thornbury Fun Factory', 'Thornbury Global' and 'Bathtime Radio'. I am also involved with the 'R U Listening?' project this year.
